Visit Stemmer Library – The Most Comprehensive Online Collection of Scientific Resources on Phlebology and Compression Therapy
Originally initiated by Dr. Robert Stemmer, SIGVARIS founded the Stemmer Library in 2001 under the auspices of the International Union of Phlebology. The library was first based on the book “Compression Therapy of the Extremities”, co-written by Professor Hugo Partsch, Professor Eberhard Rabe and Dr. Robert Stemmer. It was published in 1999 and already contained over 1200 medical references on compression therapy.
Over the years, the Stemmer Library has been regularly updated with the latest scientific publications by a group of world-renowned experts in phlebology. Today, this unique medical library features over 4000 references. SIGVARIS is proud to offer this knowledge to the medical community through a newly developed online library where people can find the knowledge they need to serve their patients as best as possible.
